A smaller pharmaceutical company approached us to organise a speaker training program for healthcare professionals, with the aim of equipping attendees to speak about the company’s new product.
Our key challenge was coordinating attendees from all over the US, and choosing an appropriate location with ease of travel and overall cost in mind.
We were asked to create a casual presentation setting, in which attendees could comfortably practice their own presentations and converse with fellow speakers. We also wanted the setting to be representative of those attendees may come across during their own future speaking engagements.
Our client also requested that we choose a unique local restaurant where attendees could network over a meal and drinks during registration.
What we did
The event was held in Dallas, Texas, which was central to all attendees thus keeping overall costs down. We set up the Dallas Marriott with soft seating, couches and coffee tables in order to create a comfortable, conversational environment.
We used our extensive industry connections and experience to source local vendors for transfers, audiovisual production and furniture rental, as well as suggesting a number of fully compliant restaurants in the area.
We created a program around group training, with a variety of breakout sessions offering training on a more intimate level. Our in-house design team ensured that all materials for the training, including templates for attendees’ subsequent speaking engagements, were professionally branded.
Our full-service approach and local knowledge ensured that service was consistent, budgets were met, and service hours were reduced overall. Our clients were particularly impressed by the way we met their branding objectives across the board.
